MyImara Launches a First-of-its-Kind Platform to Showcase Student Social Impact Across the UK
MyImara, a newly launched social responsibility platform, is now available for students, societies, universities and organisations across the UK. The platform enables users to share positive actions such as volunteering, wellbeing activities, sustainability efforts, society achievements and community contributions, creating a real-time picture of social impact.
The goal of MyImara is to give visibility to the positive actions that usually go unnoticed. Students and employees across the UK engage in volunteering, run important society events, support wellbeing initiatives and carry out climate-positive actions, yet these contributions are seldom recorded or recognised. MyImara brings all of these together in one dedicated space.
On the platform, users can share their actions in seconds, join their university or organisation’s Impact Hub, highlight society events, and contribute to leaderboards based on meaningful, real-world contributions. This creates a centralised digital profile of student and community impact.
According to Muhammad Ali Soomro, the founder of MyImara, students already do a tremendous amount of good, but much of it remains hidden. MyImara aims to make these contributions visible, measurable and celebrated by providing a single platform to showcase positive actions.
MyImara is now available on iOS and Web, with Android version currently in development.
