Continuing growth and innovation, Mainmark UK has announced the appointment of Steve Killeen as its first Non-Executive Director.
Mainmark Ground Engineering (UK) Ltd, established in 2016, is a subsidiary of the global Mainmark group – headquartered in Sydney, Australia, which has successfully grown its global presence over the last 20 years and now has 18 office locations worldwide.
Serving the residential, industrial, commercial, civil engineering, mining and heritage sectors, Mainmark UK provides effective solutions for diverse ground engineering problems.
Using innovative solutions to raise, re-level and re-support buildings that have been affected by subsidence, Mainmark has a global presence and has completed more than 80,000 successful projects worldwide.
Steve joins the UK arm of Mainmark with over 40 years of industry experience across infrastructure, engineering and industrial sectors in the UK, Australia and international markets.
His extensive expertise in strategy and executive leadership and strong track record of building high-performance organisations will reinforce Mainmark’s ambitious growth targets in these areas. Steve’s knowledge will enhance the company’s technological capabilities, support continued expansion, and support innovation.

Before joining Mainmark, Steve was the CEO of the infrastructure and engineering services company, Downer, in New Zealand, having progressed through multiple roles with the company since 2005. Prior to joining Downer he was a Director at British consultancy Atkins, leading initiatives to improve team performance and meet customer needs.
