The Yorkshire division of national homebuilder, Bellway Homes delivered a new home to Rachael Wilson and Daniel Hunt just in the nick of time – with the East Riding buyers having their first child just seven days later.
Rachael and Daniel moved from Anlaby Common to Kirk Ella – a move that Bellway were able to accelerate using its Part Exchange Scheme.
The couple collected the keys for their new home on 12 December – just six weeks after first talking to Bellway – and a week later baby Zara was born at Hull University Teaching Hospital on 19 December.
Using Bellway’s Part Exchange Scheme, the family, including eight-year-old Ashleigh and four-year-old Jude, were able to move quickly and confidently, completing the move into their new home within six weeks.
The Part Exchange scheme allows buyers to sell their current property to Bellway and buy one of their new homes, meaning no estate agent fees or advertising fees, saving them thousands of pounds, time and stress.
Rachael said: “People always say moving house is one of the most stressful things you can do, but honestly we found it so easy. Everything was already finished and ready for us, we could just move straight in. Being in a baby bubble, it was such a relief knowing everything went smoothly.”
The couple had heard great things about Bellway before buying, with Rachael’s brother also living in a Bellway property.
“We’d heard how good Bellway homes were, and now we can see why. Having a new build meant there was no additional work to do at all, which is exactly what you need when you are about to have a baby!” added Rachael.
Bellway’s Parsons Croft is being constructed off Great Gutter Lane in the village of Kirk Ella, it comprises 204 homes, 134 of which have already sold.
Melanie Smith, sales director for Bellway Yorkshire said: “Parsons Croft is proving incredibly popular with buyers who want high quality homes they can move into quickly. It’s fantastic that Rachael and Daniel were able to complete their move before Christmas, and focus on what really matters, welcoming their new baby and settling into family life.”
The four-bedroom Cutler bought by Rachael and Daniel, is a spacious detached home, which is built across two floors. It features an open-plan kitchen and dining area and a separate living room; plus four good sized bedrooms – one of which is en suite – plus a contemporary family bathroom.
Prices at Parsons Croft currently range from £209,995 for a two-bedroom home, £254,995 to £289,995 for a three-bedroom home and from £349,995 for a four-bedroom home. Homes are built to first-rate specifications including energy saving features such as solar PV panels, EV car chargers and Smart Thermostats that all help to cut the cost of running a new home.
