In March 2025, Sreepur Village launched its inspiring new social enterprise, Hold Everything Bags, at the Cultural Enterprise Conference in Liverpool. The enterprise produces a stunning range of tote bags, jewellery pouches and drawstring bags — but these are far more than just accessories. Each bag represents the skill, resilience, and hope of the women who craft them. Hold Everything Bags also offers businesses the opportunity to place bespoke orders, with no order too small, making it easy for organisations to support ethical trade while receiving high-quality, customised products.
Based in rural Bangladesh, Sreepur Village has been transforming the lives of abandoned and destitute mothers and their children for over four decades. Through housing, education, healthcare, and vocational training, the village creates an environment where women can rebuild their lives and gain independence. Hold Everything Bags offers a practical and empowering way for these women to do just that: earn fair wages, develop management and artisan skills, and receive community support to look forward to a brighter future.
