With the new car registrations there’s a wave of used cars hitting the market as they come off finance or lease agreements of two, three or four years. March and September are the busiest months for car sales, 30% of new cars are registered in those months alone with 78% of those sales being financed. With more used cars becoming available, buyers may have a better chance of finding their ideal make and model at a competitive price. These cars can make for a great buy for a number of reasons; typically they will have had just one owner, come with a full service history, often from main dealers, and generally will have been well maintained. The UK’s most popular leased cars include the Nissan Qashqai, the all-electric Tesla Model Y SUV, Audi A3, Vauxhall Corsa, and the Volkswagen T-Roc *
Ashley Winston of Palmdale Car Finders has spent 20 years sourcing the best used cars for his clients. There isn’t much that he hasn’t seen in the used car market place. Ashley says, “It will take a little time for car dealers to prep the cars being returned so you might want to hold off to the end of the month but it’s certainly a good time to start looking as there will be plenty to choose from.”
For those not wishing to use a car finding service Ashley has shared all of his knowledge in a free 45-page guide.
