ArrowXL, the UK’s largest and longest established two-person home delivery specialist, is proud to celebrate the 30th anniversary of its Worcester depot. Since its establishment in 1994, the depot has been a cornerstone of the company’s operations, delivering outstanding service to millions of households across the UK.

The same age as The Channel Tunnel, Four weddings and a Funeral, and the first National Lottery draw, the Worcester depot has played a pivotal role in ArrowXL’s growth and success, helping the company provide high-quality, customer focused delivery solutions for their clients.

Over the past three decades, the Worcester team has witnessed a catastrophic fire at the depot in 2017, 3 devastating floods, a number of snow (and weather) related emergencies, several industrial disputes, and a global pandemic. They have adapted to industry advancements, embraced new technology, and consistently exceeded customer expectations.

Stuart Stock, Commercial Manager at ArrowXL commented: “I started with ArrowXL in the same year as the Worcester site opened, along with several of my colleagues and together we’ve survived a number of disasters and celebrated some incredible successes at the site. This huge milestone is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and passion of our team and their commitment to delivering exceptional service for our customers.”

Charlie Shiels, CEO at ArrowXL added: “Our Worcester depot has seen significant challenges and developments over the years, including operational expansions, sustainability initiatives, and investments in state-of-the-art technology to enhance efficiency and environmental responsibility. It continues to operate as a key hub within our national network, and contributes to the company’s reputation as a leading delivery partner.

“We remain committed to driving innovation, sustainability, and customer satisfaction and will continue to invest in our people, technology, and infrastructure to ensure the Worcester depot remains a vital part of our operations for many more years to come.”
