NewsByWire is a press release distribution service that helps businesses and organizations share their news with journalists, bloggers, and media outlets worldwide.
First of all we ensure that your press release meets our editorial and format guidelines, including checking that it is timely and has a strong news hook.
Once it passes these checks, we distribute it to journalists, news desks, bloggers, and editors who are most likely to be interested in your story. This targeted approach avoids spamming those who aren’t relevant to your news.
We also publish your press release on our website, share it across our social media channels, and distribute it through our topic-specific RSS feeds
We typically review and share press releases on the same day, but it can take up to 24 hours during busy periods (or a little longer at weekends).
We accept newsworthy press releases on various topics, including business, technology, science, property, media, lifestyle, entertainment, food, and leisure.
We don’t share news stories that promote crypto, tobacco, vaping, gambling, questionable dietary and health products, or unregulated investments.
You can submit your press release through our online submission form on the website.
We have a growing database of journalists and publications based all over the world, including, the USA and Canada as well as the UK and Europe. We’ve also started to reach a number of journalists in the Middle East, South Asia and Australasia.
No, we don’t guarantee that we will share your press releases.
We maintain high standards for all press releases submitted to our platform. To ensure that journalists and publications using News By Wire receive topical and relevant content, we adhere to the following criteria:
- Newsworthiness: All submissions must contain genuine news value.
- Writing Quality: Press releases should be well-written and professional.
- Relevance: Content must align with the interests of journalists in our network.
- Strong News Hook: Each release should have a compelling angle or “hook.”
- Non-promotional: We reject purely promotional or advertising materials.
These guidelines help us maintain the integrity of our service and the trust of our media partners. Press releases that don’t meet these standards will be automatically declined by our system.
Your press release should include a compelling headline, relevant content, quotes, background information about your company, and contact details for follow-up questions.
Only image support at the moment. The image should be in .jpg format and less than 2MB in size.
Our service is free, and we’ll be adding some paid enhancements in the future.

A newsworthy press release contains new, interesting, and relevant information. It should be timely and have a compelling “hook” or angle.
Apart from automated checks that might include an AI assessment of your press release format, we do not edit or make changes to press releases.
Currently, we do not offer a feature for editing press releases after submission. However, if you spot an error in your published press release, you can take the following steps:
- Send us an email requesting the removal of the inaccurate press release.
- Ensure you send this request from the same email address used for the initial submission.
- Provide a link to the specific press release you want removed.
- If you wish, you can submit a corrected version as a new press release.
We strive to maintain accuracy and will try to process your removal request quickly. For future press release submissions, we recommend thoroughly reviewing your press release before sharing to minimize the need for post-publication changes.
