Leeds, August 2026

Leeds-based marketing agency Youbee Media is celebrating a landmark summer after being appointed marketing partner for a series of successful events that have taken place across the city over the last few months.

The agency, which is best known for its social media expertise, has cemented a growing reputation in the events sector, following its support across a diverse portfolio of clients this year, including ClimbUK, the Pride in Diversity Awards, The Yorkshire BusinessWoman Awards and local LGBTQ+ charity, Out Together and their flagship fundraising event, which took place last month, The All Out Together Ball.

Youbee Media’s Director, Rebecca Hopwood, shared: “We feel incredibly honoured to have been entrusted to support such fantastic events across Leeds and Yorkshire this summer. These events play such an important role in celebrating the businesses, charities, and individuals who make our region such a fantastic place to live and work, and it’s been an absolute privilege to play our small part in contributing to their success”

Youbee Media’s services have included brand creation, social media management, PR, website development and management, marketing collateral, and creative design, such as producing the distinctive Climb26 T-Shirts and trainers designed by Senior Content Manager Olivia Rock, as well as on-the-ground support at the live events.

The agency’s impact has already been clear, with event growth, awareness and audience engagement for its array of clients increasing. The Pride in Diversity Awards experienced a remarkable 67% increase in size at its 2026 event.

Meanwhile, Climb26 also enjoyed its most successful year yet. They also saw a 108% increase in unique visitors and nearly 1,000 new followers on LinkedIn alone, in just the first two months after Youbee Media joined as marketing partner.

Gordon Bateman, Founder & CEO of ClimbUK commented: “We brought Youbee Media on board at relatively short notice ahead of Climb26, and they immediately became an extension of our team. Rebecca and the team understood what we were trying to achieve and brought the flexibility, energy and commitment needed to deliver a major event like Climb26.

“Their support went far beyond social media, helping us build momentum, strengthen our visibility and make this year’s festival our most successful yet. We chose Youbee because of their strong reputation and experience within the regional events community, and they absolutely delivered. We’re excited to continue working together as we build towards an even bigger Climb27.”

Although Youbee Media is not an events-focused agency, they have established growth within this area through long-lasting relationships built with other businesses in the sector. Much of this work has stemmed from introductions by Jane Clynes, events planner, whom Youbee Media have worked with for several years on various events.

Event planner, Jane Clynes commented: “Having worked with Youbee Media for several years, what really sets them apart is that they don’t simply promote an event from the outside – they become genuinely invested and work as part of the team.

“From helping us grow the Yorkshire BusinessWoman Awards to shaping the Pride in Diversity Awards from the very beginning, their creativity, flexibility and commitment have made them an invaluable partner. Becky understands what it takes to bring an event to life, build a community around it and maintain that momentum year after year.”

Following this summer’s success, Youbee Media has secured a year-long contract to support ClimbUK with its series of events across the country and the Climb27 festival. They are also set to return as marketing partners for the 2027 Pride in Diversity Awards and are in talks about other exciting events on the horizon.
