Tri-Tronics Company, Inc., a leading manufacturer of sensing technology headquartered in Tampa, Florida, has been named the 2026 Manufacturer of the Year by the Bay Area Manufacturers Association (BAMA). The award, presented during BAMA’s Annual Awards Banquet on June 18, recognizes manufacturers that demonstrate excellence in innovation, operational performance, business leadership, workforce development, and community involvement throughout the Tampa Bay region.
Founded in 1954, Tri-Tronics has spent more than 70 years designing and manufacturing photoelectric sensors, rotary encoders, and elevator door protection systems used across a wide range of industrial and vertical transportation applications. The company’s continued investment in engineering, manufacturing, customer support, and employee development has helped establish Tri-Tronics as a trusted manufacturer serving customers throughout North America.
Presented annually, the Manufacturer of the Year Award honors companies that demonstrate a sustained commitment to manufacturing excellence while making meaningful contributions to the industry’s growth and the communities they serve.
