Elite Sports has announced the release of its 2026 women’s BJJ gi series, a line built with the female frame at its core. The series spans five color options, black, white, pink, purple, and blue, and is aimed at female grapplers who train hard and need gear that can keep up.
Women’s BJJ grappling has grown steadily over the past few years, both at the club level and in formal events. As more female athletes step onto the mat, the demand for gis that fit and move well for them has grown in step with them. The 2026 line from Elite Sports is a direct response to that demand.
Each gi in the women’s BJJ gi series is made from 450gsm pearl weave fabric that has been pre-shrunk. The jacket follows the natural shape of the female body, with a tapered cut that allows a full range of motion without loose fabric getting in the way during rolls. Side slits ease movement, reinforced stitching at the seams, and key stress points help each gi hold up through heavy use.
The pants are made from a CVC blend (60% cotton, 40% polyester) with a rope drawstring for a firm, close fit. Both the jacket and the pants are machine washable, lightweight, and breathable for long sessions on the mat.
The core white, black, and blue carry IBJJF approval, making them fit for use in formal events. Each gi also comes with a free white belt, a practical touch for those who are just getting started. The Core Blue Women’s BJJ Gi is one of the key models in the range and reflects the design approach taken across the full line.
