Press Release

Montreal, Canada -Tuesday 24th March 2026

Leading rail revenue management technology provider, Expretio has appointed UK-based PR consultancy, Positive Story to raise its profile and support continued growth in the UK and Europe.

Expretio, part of Modaxo and ultimately Constellation Software, uses artificial intelligence and machine learning to help operators grow revenue and deliver a better service to passengers. With more than 20 years’ sole focus on the rail sector, its technology is used by more rail operators than any other revenue management provider. The company serves operators across the UK, continental Europe and North America, including around one third of the UK’s train operating companies.

Jane Griffin, founder of Positive Story, said: “Expretio has a strong track record in rail revenue management and established relationships with leading rail operators, but it has also been described as ‘rail revenue’s best kept secret’. I’m looking forward to working with the team to ensure its expertise and results are more widely recognised across the industry.”

Expretio’s platform, Appia, is purpose-built for rail and enables operators to optimise pricing and forecast demand using advanced dynamic pricing and AI-driven insights. It allows operators to sell the right product, to the right traveller, at the right time, through the right channel and at the right price, giving greater control over the demand curve. Its flexible, API-driven architecture also enables integration with wider rail systems, allowing operators to retain technology flexibility and commercial independence.

Peter Cramon, Sales and Marketing Director at Expretio, said: “We’ve spent more than 20 years focused solely on revenue management for rail operators. But as the market evolves, increasing our visibility and clearly communicating our value is essential. Jane’s global experience across rail, infrastructure and technology communications makes Positive Story a strong fit as we look to grow.”

Griffin is an award-winning Chartered PR practitioner and committee member of the CIPR Independent Practitioners Network. Before launching Positive Story in 2021, she held senior in-house roles with Eurotunnel, Network Rail, ATOC, Angel Trains Group (part of RBS Group), BAE Systems and Bechtel, delivering communications across rail, infrastructure, engineering and technology sectors in the UK and internationally.

Since its launch, Positive Story has supported B2B technology, infrastructure and engineering businesses across the UK and Europe to strengthen reputation and drive commercial growth.
