ZAG Drinks, a pioneering alcohol-free brand, has appointed John Nicolson as Chair of its newly formed Advisory Board. Bringing extensive experience within the drinks industry, the start-up is confident that Nicolson’s new appointment will continue to establish ZAG as market leaders and will accelerate its growth plans for 2022 and beyond.
With over 4 decades of experience of senior-level experience in both the UK and international drinks markets – with previous positions including Chair at AG Barr, President Heineken Americas, Chairman of International Beer and PLC Director S&N – John is set to bring a suite of specialist skills and expertise to his latest role.
In addition to heading up ZAG’s Advisory Board, John has also previously held non-executive positions on the boards of businesses including Stock Spirits Plc, CCU SA (South America), United Breweries India, Baltika Breweries Russia and North American Breweries Inc USA.

What’s more, the team are in the process of confirming other key appointments to the Advisory Board, in line with its ambitious growth plans, within the coming months to further diversify its skillset and industry insight.
