Lee Tompkins, born in 1963 in New York City, is a renowned artist known for his photo-real landscape and still-life creations. His intricate pencil drawings on tile boards and vibrant watercolors on paper showcase his exceptional talent. Raised in Brooklyn, Lee’s passion for art blossomed at a young age as he sketched on various surfaces, drawing inspiration from everyday life. Influenced by artist Andy Warhol during his formative years, Lee honed his skills and embraced creative freedom. With a penchant for traveling and painting on commission, Lee’s works adorn collections worldwide, including the prestigious White House in Washington DC. Lee Tompkins continues to captivate art enthusiasts with his stunning, lifelike masterpieces that transcend boundaries and evoke profound emotions.
