Loughborough-based startup Altitude Marketing Ltd has proudly secured its place as a finalist in the upcoming Midlands final of the prestigious StartUp Awards.
The UK StartUp Awards were launched to recognise the booming start-up scene across the UK, which has accelerated over the last few years. Over 900 businesses have been shortlisted for this year’s UK StartUp Awards across the UK, and the contribution of these firms – all of which were started in the last three years – is significant, having created nearly 6,000 new jobs since they were established and generating annual sales of £480 million.
Altitude Marketing Ltd was founded by Laura King-Berry and Tom Bates in 2022. As a full-service marketing agency, Altitude offers a comprehensive suite of services, including but not limited to, social media management, public relations, advertising, branding, SEO optimisation, website development, and production.
The team has seen huge growth over the past two years and has now been nominated for the Marketing, Advertising, and PR StartUp of the Year Award.
Laura reflected on the past two years, saying:
“We’ve been on an incredible journey since Tom and I founded the agency two years ago, and being shortlisted for an award at this scale means the world to me and the team. I’m amazed at what we’ve achieved, and this is proof that we’re doing the right thing and heading in the right direction, and it’s just the motivation we needed to keep moving forward.”
Tom echoed this saying:
