Durham-based stick marketing is planting trees with Tree Nation to offset Co2 emissions

A Durham marketing and design agency is planting trees in collaboration with Tree-Nation as part of its ongoing commitment to a more sustainable future.

Stick Marketing which specialises in helping SMEs in and around Durham to grow their businesses, has worked with the non-profit to plant 131 trees in June, to offset its CO2 emissions. The initiative is part of its wider plan to fight climate change by reducing its impact on the planet.

Stick Director Sarah Greenwell said: “We care about making the world a better place from here in Durham. As an agency and as people, we’re passionate about the environment and the world that we are leaving for our children. Our partnership with the charity Tree-Nation is the ideal way for us to illustrate this. We’ve committed to planting a tree each month for ourselves as well as one each year for every client.

“We’re looking forward to seeing our investment grow and will be looking for other ways to reduce CO2 within the business, including continuing remote working, making the best use of in-person and virtual meetings to reduce local car journeys.”

Tree-Nation’s reforestation projects help to create jobs and protect biodiversity for communities living in some of the world’s poorest countries.
