Plot: The story of a young woman’s journey to define herself against societal standards. Born into a world where she’s surrounded by violence, struggles with identity and dueling ideologies, she is determined to not become a statistic and to rise above her circumstance . As the story unfolds, she and her family experience a life altering event that forces them to grapple with a
matter from the past that has been revealed. This discovery forces her look to the One source that’ll eventually bring her inner peace and solace amid her pain.
