Virtual Cabinet announces strategic brand refresh to reflect growth ambitions and alignment with GetBusy Group

Virtual Cabinet, an industry-leading provider of innovative document management software, this morning launched a strategic brand refresh to accompany the scale-up of Virtual Cabinet Cloud. This exciting new brand, which includes a new logo that clearly identifies Virtual Cabinet as part of the GetBusy family, reflects the company’s ambitions to evolve into a leading specialist productivity suite for professional and financial services.

For more than two decades, Virtual Cabinet has continuously invested in the future to ensure it remains adaptable to the ever-evolving workplace. The team prides itself on working relentlessly to deliver innovative features and functionality to support customers’ specific needs. Virtual Cabinet Cloud is a complete reimagination of document management, in which files, communication and workflows are interchanged seamlessly in one place, enabling effortless and intuitive collaboration with colleagues and with clients. Alongside the brand refresh, which includes a comprehensive user interface re-design, Virtual Cabinet has introduced its integral user insight reporting feature, equipping businesses with the tools they need to measure and improve productivity.

The professional services world is in a state of deep flux; the relentless proliferation of complex privacy legislation, inflationary pressures not seen for a generation, a tougher regulatory environment, heightened cyber security threats and the rapidly evolving trends in flexible working are all creating operational and cost pressures that demand an innovative response.

Virtual Cabinet exists to help customers rise to those challenges, offering a growing range of capabilities that help professionals spend more time on valuable client work and less effort on time-consuming administrative tasks. In the last twelve months, scheduling, quoting and form-filling software solutions have been acquired to create even more ways to help customers be more productive.

David Owen, Global Head of Virtual Cabinet commented, “Document management is and will remain at the very core of Virtual Cabinet. Our deep expertise, acquired from helping over one million professionals collaborate, ideally positions us to solve broader productivity challenges for our customers. The scale-up of Virtual Cabinet Cloud, together with our recent acquisitions, all speak to the innovation and ambition within the group. Virtual Cabinet’s stunning new brand and logo reflect that visually, as we prepare for the next stage on our exciting growth journey.”

Commenting on the Virtual Cabinet brand refresh, Dan Rabie, CEO of GetBusy said, “Virtual Cabinet’s refreshed brand reflects the engrained culture of creativity and ambition. Investment in Virtual Cabinet’s product innovation remains a key priority for GetBusy, equipping Virtual Cabinet to stay ahead of – and set – industry trends, as it has done throughout the last 20 years. We are excited about the next stage for Virtual Cabinet and for the clients we serve every day.”

Greg Clough, from the restructuring specialist Alvarez & Marsal, a long-standing Virtual Cabinet client, commented, “Virtual Cabinet has always impressed me with its ability to integrate with our core back-office software, but as we take advantage of cloud efficiencies it’s both comforting and exciting to see Virtual Cabinet innovate with their new offerings in this space.”
