The UK’s Largest West African Food Chain Launches Product Range in Sainsbury’s

In October 2022 Tasty African Food reached a major deal with UK heavyweight retailer Sainsbury’s enabling the UK’s largest West African Restaurant chain to reach a greater audience with their top line meal deals.  From originally only selling their products in African supermarkets, the West African food chain has expanded their presence in the UK with this food deal.

West African delicacies such as Eforiro, Dodo Gizzard & Ayamase (Hot Stew) can now all be found in the chilled isle at multiple Sainsbury stores across the country. It represents a huge win for the West African food chain and the company has future plans to ensure more of their restaurant bestsellers such as Jollof Rice are in the Sainsbury’s stores in the future. Tasty African Food  is becoming a pioneer in bringing West African food to the masses in the same vein as Chinese and Indian food here within the UK.

From its humble beginnings in Woolwich, South East London in the year 2000, the brand has built a reputation for being leaders in authentic West African dishes with over 23 branches dotted around South-East London and Kent.  Spanning over two decades of service, its reputation for providing traditional quality food is synonymous with quality and flavour among the African community, priding itself on offering authentic and affordable food, for all occasions. Tasty African Food delivers nothing but excellence in our products and services, with consistency being fundamental to the business. As a household name, its outlets offer a safe environment for dine-in or takeaway customers.  Whether the little boy grabbing Puff-Puff after school or the Mum looking to hire a caterer for her daughter’s wedding, their customers are at the heart of everything Tasty African Food does.
