The actual potential cost of traveling to visit family and friends during Thanksgiving and Christmas

As 63% of Americans prepare to hit the road to visit family and friends during the holidays, Find the Best Car Price wanted to discover the underlying and genuine cost of what those journeys could mean for the average family.

Almost 27% of all major urban roads are rated as substandard and only 31% are actually deemed to be “good”  (according to up-to-date data) with eleven thousand auto fatalities being attributed to the aforementioned poor condition of roads, as anything up to 174 million cars (based on sixty percent of the 290 million registered vehicles in the US in 2022) could be on the road this holiday season, the potential financial and personal cost of travel could cripple the insurance industry during a period of economic crisis.

Geoff Cudd, the CEO of Find the Best Car Price said “Even though we can’t control the conditions of the road, there are a lot of ways that the average American motorist can help to keep themselves and their families safe while they’re traveling.

From making sure that their cars are serviced so they’re road worthy and under warranty should the worst happen, to find the best available trade-in and finance deals for newer, safer cars for some extra peace of mind.

Even though there’s a recession looming, staying safe while you’re on the road during the holidays is cheaper than most people think it is”

Find the Best Car Price recently published a breakdown of the questions that drivers should be asking about, and what they can expect to pay for, warranties, that can be found here

If you want to speak to Geoff about staying safe while traveling during the holidays, let me know and we’ll be more than happy to set up some interview time.
