Stevenage Leisure Services contract awarded to Everyone Active

The new ten-year Active Communities Leisure Management contract with Stevenage Borough Council was won by Everyone Active.
The new agreement will begin on 1 April 2023 and leisure facilities specialists, Everyone Active will manage Stevenage Swimming Centre, Stevenage Arts and Leisure Centre, Fairlands Valley Aqua Park, Southfield Showground, Ridlins Athletics Stadium and Stevenage Golf Conference Centre.
Everyone Active’s 35 years’ experience of managing leisure, culture and arts facilities across the country will soon become available for Stevenage residents and visitors. The UK leisure operator prides itself on being a community-focused organisation and will introduce this approach to residents of town.
Everyone Active aims to support the council’s vision for leisure across Stevenage, by providing attractive facilities available to all age groups in the town’s community and contribute to the health and wellbeing objectives of the council.
Cllr Richard Henry, Leader of Stevenage Borough Council said: “After going through a lengthy and robust procurement process, the partnership with Everyone Active will help bring more leisure services to local people. It will bring a significant boost to our leisure and cultural offer in Stevenage including a new Stevenage Active Resident Card and a wide range of new innovative sports and leisure facilities. I am pleased to see this new partnership contribute to the health and wellbeing objectives of the council.”

Everyone Active is currently the second largest leisure operator in the country, managing in excess of 200 sites in partnership with over 60 local authorities.
