Nicolas Maari will lead the firm’s Public Sector team in London
MAC Construction Consultants has strengthened its national Public Sector offering with the appointment of experienced Project Manager, Nicolas Maari.
Joining the firm with immediate effect as a Director of Employers Agent and Design Services, and based out of London, he brings more than 15 years’ experience to the role having worked for several large national and international design and consultancy practices.
A former Director and Board Member at Pellings, he has led teams of Architects, Employers Agents, Town Planners and Interior Designers, overseeing the strategic planning and stakeholder engagement, and completing the framework agreements on a myriad of impressive public sector projects.
Welcoming him to the team Director Matt Roberts said his appointment was indicative of the commitment that MAC has to growing its Public Sector offering nationwide, and particularly in the South of England.
His arrival follows a strong couple of years of growth for the business, which continued to secure major private and public sector contracts despite the difficulties brought about by the pandemic.
Nicolas has previously acted as Framework Manager for residential clients including Brent Housing Partnership, Swan New Homes and Town Country HA.
Now, he will be looking to bolster MAC’s Regeneration and Public Sector Strategy with a focus on Local Authority and RP sectors; public sector refurbishment projects; civic estate projects; Net Zero Carbon Homes; School expansions; Interim Accommodation Strategy; and opportunities with private developers.
He is the latest in a string of senior hires for the business, which also welcomed Richard Bellis to lead its Manchester team last year.
