M-Cube partners with Reforest’Action to mark launch of zero-carbon footprint strategy

Leading In-Store Digital Engagement company plants nearly 4,000 trees across Europe, with a goal to plant 10,000 by year end

The project will directly contribute to the strengthening of biodiversity and the socio-economic development of local populations

M-Cube, the leading European company in In-Store Digital Engagement, has announced its partnership with Reforest’Action, a company dedicated to preserving, restoring and creating forests around the world.

This partnership will see M-Cube plant trees across Europe in its first step towards a long term zero carbon footprint strategy. The company has planted nearly 4,000 trees to date, with a goal to plant at least 10,000 trees across Europe by the end of the year.

Working in partnership with Reforest’Action and its stakeholders, M-Cube will contribute to the recreation of forests in order to strengthen their ecosystem services over the long term, bringing benefits to CO2 storage, water filtration, soil retention and population wellbeing.

The forest action has also created nearly 12,000 shelters for animals as well as approximately 4,000 hours of work, directly contributing to the strengthening of biodiversity and the socio-economic development of local populations.

Manlio Romanellie, President at M-Cube commented: “We are delighted to be announcing our partnership with Reforest’Action and emphasising our commitment to fighting against climate change. We recognise that technology companies all over the world have a duty to do more to protect our environment. This partnership marks the first step in a long journey towards a zero carbon footprint.”
