Lister Fertility Clinic, part of HCA Healthcare UK, is delighted to announce that it is expanding its operations with the launch of a new fertility centre at The Portland Hospital in central London.
The expansion plans, which have been introduced in response to increased demand for fertility care and treatment, reinforce the Lister Fertility Clinic’s reputation as one of the most successful IVF treatment clinics in the UK. Since opening its doors in 1988, it has seen over 20,200 “Lister” babies born and performs approximately 2,400 fresh cycles of IVF each year.
It is hoped that the new clinic will make it easier for patients living across London and beyond to access the Lister Fertility Clinic’s world leading services and the best medical minds in fertility. It also enables a continuity of care for patients at The Portland Hospital, which already leads in clinical excellence for maternity, gynaecological and paediatric care.
The new centre will provide the full spectrum of fertility care to patients, with a specific focus on IVF. This will include initial and follow-up fertility and gynaecology consultations, scans, ovulation induction, cycle monitoring, IUI, FET cycles and blood tests, as well as performing egg retrieval and embryo transfer.
At the forefront of this new centre will be Mr Rehan Salim, Consultant Gynaecologist and Specialist in Reproductive Medicine, who joins the team of experts at Lister Fertility Clinic after over 20 years’ experience in the NHS. Lister Fertility Clinic at The Portland Hospital will be open to patients from June.
