“King” of social selling Daniel Disney publishes third book with global publisher Wiley to stop social media spam

A SOCIAL media mogul has published his third book showing business owners and sales professionals how to close sales using LinkedIn’s messaging feature.

Daniel Disney, a leading social selling expert, has released his third book, The Ultimate LinkedIn Messaging Guide on March 16.

Daniel has built up an online presence through The Daily Sales, an online community for salespeople which now has 980,000 followers.

Since launching this, has become well-known online for being a pioneer in training people how to use the platform to generate sales and has helped people generate millions of pounds worth of business using LinkedIn.

His approach is to build meaningful relationships, rather than spam with cold sales pitches, in order to get better responses and increase the likelihood of closing sales.

The new book, which follows his 2021 Amazon #1 bestseller, The Ultimate LinkedIn Sales Guide, provides an up-to-date and comprehensive guide on how to utilise all of the new features on LinkedIn’s messaging feature, including audio and video messages and inMail.

Daniel was inspired by the amount of ‘spammy’ sales messages circulating LinkedIn that he feels is an outdated approach to selling.

He said: ‘This book was inspired by the huge problem plaguing LinkedIn – spammy sales pitch messages being sent by salespeople all over the world. The terrible practice of copy-paste-send is hugely affecting businesses who just don’t understand how LinkedIn works.

‘My goal is to help people see that it’s not about pitching people, but instead starting real, genuine conversations and building meaningful relationships. When you start sending personalised and relevant messages to the right people on LinkedIn you start to not only get more replies, but you’re able to create significantly more opportunities.’

The book is aimed at sales professionals, business owners, and entrepreneurs who are looking to increase their sales through LinkedIn.

It includes 50 sales templates, covering the four types of messages you can send, as well as advice on what to do before sending a message, when the best time to message is, what to include in the message and what to do following the message.

It is Daniel’s second book to be published by global publisher Wiley and is available to buy via his website, on Amazon or in major bookstores.
