Spanish restaurant, Alioli, in Touchwood, Solihull, has launched a new Sangria menu just in time for National Sangria Day on 20th December.
The vibrant Alioli has proved extremely popular since opening its doors on 1st June serving the best of Andalucian food and wine and is now set to expand its offering with a range of tempting Sangrias.
The traditional drink of Spain, Sangria is a delicious blend of wine and fresh fruits which is celebrated annually in December. Guests at Alioli will now be able to choose from a delicious selection of red, white and rosé sangrias which have been developed by the specialist inhouse Spanish team led by Chef Alfonso Garcia Sanchez. Blends include the classic Sangria Tradicional or exciting variations like the Sangria de Cereza y Amaretto with red wine, Amaretto, sour cherries and Cola.
Ricardo Serafin, General Manager of Alioli said: “With the miserable weather we’ve been experiencing lately, Sangria is the perfect drink to transport you to sunny days in Andalucia and National Sangria Day is the perfect excuse to come along and sample the new varieties we have on offer.”
And for those guests looking for some authentic bites to accompany the tipple, Alioli offers the ultimate ‘Tapas Experience’ for £50 which can be shared among 2-3 people. The experience includes a set of 10 popular tapas dishes such as Croquetas de Jamón, Padrón Peppers, Calamares Fritos and Marinated Olives.
Inspired by the gypsy culture of Andalusia, Alioli serves tapas food that sparks passion and artistic energy in a lively colourful setting. It is the first restaurant (in the region) to honour the culture of flamenco dancers and the largely misunderstood gypsy community and celebrates art, passion and the region of Andalusia.
Alioli is located in Touchwood Shopping Centre Solihull and is open Sunday – Thursday 11:30am – 10pm. Friday – Saturday 11:30am – 10:30pm.
