Abbey College Manchester has hosted an international tour for key figures in the education sector, raising worldwide awareness of the city and showcasing Manchester as a desirable location for potential students.
The leading independent college welcomed eleven agents from countries across the world including Hong Kong, Thailand, Hungary, Brazil and Vietnam, with the college’s hospitality helping to boost the global profile of Manchester and highlight the cultural, educational and business opportunities afforded by learning in the city centre.
Led by a representative from the college, the agents embarked on a walking tour of Manchester City Centre where they explored key landmarks and sights, and discovered more about the iconic city’s history. The group then went on to enjoy a tour of the well-equipped college, sample first-hand Abbey College Manchester’s duo of unique Academic Studies with Sports Training programmes, visiting the facilities for both football and basketball, before concluding their visit with refreshments at the college’s boarding house.
