Manquila – Queen Of The Night – Runaway Success Both Online And In Wetherspoon As Distiller Increases Production By 100%
Zymurgorium Group, the prolific Manchester-based distillery and creator of award winning, never before seen gins, liqueurs and rums, is celebrating the growing success of its first new product launch of 2022.
Manquila, a wild strawberry cream liqueur with agave spirit from Jalisco (Mexico), launched in March with an exclusive on-trade listing in Wetherspoon.
Since the launch the Irlam based business has celebrated record sales, sending out 34 palettes in just one day of trading with sales in the on/ off trade exceeding forecasts and ramping up stockholding by 100% to meet demand within four weeks.
The product has been such a success that the flavour boffins at Zymurgorium are already working on the next product in the range.
The new pour, which is best served as a shot, over ice or in a creamy cocktail, is available online now from the dedicated Manquila website and in Wetherspoon sites across the UK.
Managing director of Zymurgorium, Aaron Darke said: “We did our research and we were confident that the market had more than enough room for another quality cream liqueur and we have been blown away by the huge success of Manquila from day one. We have had excellent feedback across the board from our trade customers covering pubs, independents, wholesalers and online business saying Manquila is a quality product with great margins and sure to challenge the market leader.

”Zymurgorium also has plans to create a plethora of other new products in 2022 as it expands its Cane Toad Rum range, gifting lines and a few surprises along the way too. The Zymurgorium Group distillery based in Irlam, Greater Manchester, conducts all of its operations in-house all under one roof including distilling, bottling, warehouse, and office functions, with state-of-the-art production and bottling facilities.
The business was launched by Aaron Darke in 2013 with a multi-million pound investment into the development of a new distillery, state of the art bottling line; whilst developing a range of internal systems including implementation of the SALSA standard.
Known for its distinct industry innovations including the world’s first Parma Violet gin liqueur and the world’s first Ruby Chocolate rum, Zymurgorium has over 30 plus spirits and liqueurs in its range, including a host of new alcoholic innovations set to launch this year.
