Digital Workforce Solutions PLC, the leading provider of intelligent automation (IA) services, has helped sustainability certification programme Planet Mark identify significant growth opportunities with a six-figure business value.
Wanting to capitalise on growing demand to measure and quantify the impact of sustainability projects, Planet Mark needed to increase the productivity of its team of highly skilled analysts. With hiring new staff a costly and time consuming process, Planet Mark identified automation as a potential option to free up staff to focus on more complex tasks.
To ensure Planet Mark fully understood what it could achieve through automation, Digital Workforce carried out a discovery phase highlighting the processes which could be automated. In total the discovery identified in the region of 1,000 reports, with a business value of six figures, which led Planet Mark to reassess its overall strategy based on what it could achieve through automation.
Leon Stafford, UK country manager for Digital Workforce, said “With so many businesses looking at how they can accurately quantify their sustainability efforts, Planet Mark is in high demand for its expertise. To exploit these opportunities an agile, automated operation, with employees focused on high value tasks, and manual processing needed to be kept to a minimum. We’ve been delighted to help Mark and his team at Planet Mark understand exactly how automation can help the business meet its goals and identify how new objectives can be tackled through a tailored approach.”
Mark Saldanha, Planet Mark’s head of digital, said “Working with Digital Workforce has challenged our assumptions around automation and forced us to look beyond the initial scope of the project to look at our entire strategy and how automation can help us achieve more ambitious goals. Throughout the discovery phase, the Digital Workforce team were focused on helping us find the right approach that worked for Planet Mark. It’s only through engaging with them that we’ve been able to access sound advice, a broad breadth of experience and a collaborative, consultative partnership.”
