A luxury Midlands apartment development in one of the UK’s most sought-after towns is bucking the national sales trend, even before it is officially launched.
The second and final phase of Elevate Property Group’s Imperial House in Princes Gate, Solihull, is more than 25 per cent sold off plan, despite a general slowdown in home sales nationally.
Elevate says the desirable location and trademark superb quality are driving sales at Imperial House, which features 60 one, two and three-bedroom apartments with allocated gated parking available, a communal roof garden and balconies.
Joint selling agents Savills and Smart Homes will officially launch Imperial House on Thursday March 2, from 4pm until 8pm, at the Crown Plaza Hotel, also in Homer Road, Solihull.
David Hofton, sales and marketing director for Elevate, said: “Solihull is regularly voted one of the best places to live in the UK and it really lives up to its motto Urbs in Rure – town in the country.
“Imperial House is proving to be very popular with professionals and downsizers who want all the convenience of apartment living but with the lifestyle benefits that such a fabulous area can offer. It is right next to Tudor Grange Park and prospective buyers tell us that as well as the location, they like the outside space on offer, with some apartments having balconies and of course, the garden on the roof!
“There is growing interest in the 15 Minute Cities movement currently, which aims to promote the development of homes where everything you need is within 15 minutes by foot or bike, including green space.
“Solihull certainly hits the spot, with 1,500 acres of parks and green space and three-quarters of the borough designated as green belt. Imperial House also gives great access to the Midlands motorway network and, once the Solihull Interchange is complete, HS2 will get you to London Euston in 38 minutes and Manchester in 37.”
One-bedroom apartments at Imperial House start from £199,950 and two-beds from £299,950. Penthouse apartments are also on sale, from £425,000 to £745,000.
