The East Midlands’ leading shopping and leisure destination, Derbion, is bringing a brand-new interactive experience for children to the centre this summer, in a UK first.
Building Buddies will make its UK shopping centre debut at Derbion from Wednesday 3rd – Tuesday 30th August, creating a hands-on, interactive play area which invites children to explore, collaborate, create, and learn in a building-themed role play event which sees them planning, decorating, tiling, gardening, building and much more.
Equipped with mini hard hats and high-vis vests, children can discover new skills and push the boundaries of their logical thinking through interactive discovery play.
The one-month long summer activity, will run from 10.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Saturday and 10.30am to 4pm on Sunday, with four quiet sessions running throughout each week. 30-minute slots for Building Buddies can be booked on the Derbion website for just £5 per child.
Elsewhere in the centre, families can enjoy bowling and mini golf at Hollywood Bowl and Paradise Island Adventure Golf, as well as Showcase Cinema de Lux, every day throughout the school summer holidays.
