Brand-new car retailer set to put Inverness community in pole position

The people of Inverness will soon be able to purchase and service their cars in style with a multi-million-pound refurbished showroom this autumn.

Arnold Clark Inverness Volvo, on Longman Road, is currently undergoing a multi-million-pound refurbishment, following a 46-year-long history with Volvo.

The retailer is set to open its doors for sales, servicing, MoT tests and repairs later this year, and its new-look showroom will feature Volvo’s signature lounge area, complete with Scandinavian furniture, free Wi-Fi and Swedish cakes and coffee. Customers will be invited to relax while their car is being looked after or can carry on working using the Wi-Fi.

The showroom will display the latest range of stunning Volvo cars, including the pure electric XC40 and plug-in hybrids, as well as Volvo Selekt Approved Used models. More than 100 checks ensure these Approved Used cars are not just safe but perform to the highest standards thanks to the latest Volvo parts and software.

The retailer will also continue to offer their streamlined service to car owners which halves waiting times. The Volvo Personal Service sees the same technician liaising with the customer from the point of booking, right through to explaining the services – which they themselves have carried out. Two technicians work together on each car, reducing the time it takes for the service to be fulfilled.

William MacKenzie, Head of Business at Arnold Clark Inverness Volvo, said: “This new look site is about more than a change of furniture – it’s designed with sustainability at the forefront of mind, to create a space where our customers can feel relaxed and at ease in an environment that provides flexible waiting, working and assessment areas.

“With the phasing-out of petrol and diesel cars in the coming years, our new state-of-the-art facility will be ready for the future, with a range of plug-in hybrid models to choose from – plus the pure electric XC40 – alongside a selection of petrol and diesel cars from our Volvo Selekt range.”

“We cannot wait to welcome customers to our new home for all their Volvo requirements and, crucially, a personalised experience with our expert team!”
