An all-new restaurant festival is launching in Birmingham this summer and is set to give foodies an authentic taste of the second city. Over 40 restaurants have created an exclusive and incredible value set menu just for this event. From today all of the festival menus are available to book.

Organised by Living For The Weekend – the company behind popular events such as Birmingham Cocktail Weekend and Birmingham Wine Weekend – this brand new gastronomical celebration promises to plate up sensational dining experiences across the city’s diverse hospitality scene.

Taking place from 22 August to 4 September, diners will have an entire fortnight to pull up a chair and sample the participating restaurants’ exclusive set menus. There are over 40 restaurants taking part in the festival including the likes of:

A La Mexicana Authentic Mexican Food, Aria Restaurant, The Blue Piano, Chung Ying Cantonese Restaurant, The Coconut Tree, Cosy Club Birmingham, Cosy Club Brindleyplace, Crazy Pedros, Gaucho, Gusto Italian, Indus at Park Regis, Itaewon, Le Petit Bois, The Oyster Club, Primitivo Bar & Eatery, Qavali, Rosa’s Thai, Rouge Brasserie, Sabai Sabai and Vinoteca.

Commenting on the launch of the festival’s menus, Alex Nicholson-Evans, the founder of Birmingham Restaurant Festival, said:

“Today we are thrilled to reveal the exclusive festival menus that our participating venues have developed. They are delicious and of excellent value. Over the years, Birmingham has been named as one of the top food destinations in the UK, and with good reason, the city boasts a diverse and vibrant dining scene.”

Diners do not need a ticket to participate in the festival: simply head to the Birmingham Restaurant Festival website and check out the exclusive menus that have been created just for this event. Once you’ve made your selection simply follow the booking instructions to reserve a table at that participating restaurant. To guarantee access to the festival menus, you must book in advance.

With over 40 restaurants across the city dishing up delicious and great value menus there are a whole host of options to choose from! From exclusive tasting menus to casual dining, there’s something to cater to every palate and preference.

“We have established Birmingham Restaurant Festival to celebrate and showcase the fantastic restaurants across the city this summer. We hope the festival will inspire you to visit as many restaurants as possible, to spend time sharing a meal with friends or family, and perhaps to try something or somewhere new too,” added Alex.
