Beacon CTO Stewart Boutcher to deliver ad fraud workshop at Hero Conf 2022

The Chief Technology Officer of award-winning click fraud protection company, Beacon, is set to host a workshop on how to identify and tackle ad fraud during an upcoming industry event.

Stewart Boutcher will deliver a breakout session at this year’s Hero Conf, which is due to take place in London on Monday 18th and Tuesday 19th July 2022.

Titled ‘Ad Fraud: Your Hidden Enemy & How to Beat It’, Stewart’s presentation will educate participants about what ad fraud really is, and how it affects not only digital ads, but also has an impact across all related digital marketing activities.

“It is estimated that global losses to click fraud on digital ads will be over $50 billion a year by 2025,” Stewart explained, speaking ahead of the event. “As such, businesses marketing their products and services online must be more vigilant than ever when running their digital campaigns.

“Through this session, it is my hope that participants will walk away with clarity about how they can measure the impact of ad fraud, what to look out for, and with several key takeaways about what they can change to reduce the impact on their activities.”

Stewart is an established speaker and moderator at Brighton SEO and The Digital Marketing Hub, and has a wealth of experience speaking on a wide range of technical, data and marketing subjects. He has been engaged in the technology sector since 1995 at a senior project and board level, and is a member of both the Data & Marketing Association North Council and the Chief Data Officer Hub.

Hero Conf London is the world’s only all-PPC conference, bringing together the biggest names and brightest minds to discuss the tactics and strategies of pay-per-click advertising, and includes 44 speakers, 40 breakout sessions, four keynotes, and over 300 PPC like-minded attendees

Stewart’s workshop will take place as part of the series of breakout sessions that are due to take place at Hero Conf on Monday 18th July between 10.15am and 11am.
